Design
This service includes design for new publications (magazines, books, newspapers, catalogs, etc.), redesign for existing publications, and design of individual stories for existing publications. New design and redesign services typically include the design of all major editorial components in a publication (e.g., cover, table of contents, department stories, feature story variations, etc.), art direction (determining styles for photos and illustrations), the development of a custom style guide (e.g., font useage, standard type treatments, color palette, etc.) and delivery of digital templates to facilitate ongoing production design.

Randy has been creating presentations since 1983 (before computers). His shows have been used by companies and presenters all over the country, including INTEL Corp, GTE, CompView, HP, US Army, and many more, from large to small organizations.

Production Design
This service is basically the task of designing a publication and creating the final digital files required for print production. This service includes the design of every page in the publication, including placement of ad art, as well as photo editing, assigning photography and illustration as required, researching stock art, proofing cycle edits, ad design and print production liaison, etc.

Consulting
Randy has personally published dozens of publications throughout his career and has vast experience in print production, promotion, advertising sales planning and support, and other disciplines. For design clients (especially those publishers new to the business) Randy provides publishing industry consulting that can help new publishers save time and money.

Fees
Each design project is bid on separately and each bid includes a total cost for services. As previously mentioned, design clients receive free consulting as a value-add service, but Randy can also provide a quote for stand-alone consulting services.
